Mom and Dad

It has been said that these people conceived *shudder* me and she who is called Mom gave birth to me. On the 12 of November 1986. They drive me up the wall and sometimes I do wonder who is the child and who is the parent.

Elizma

My older sister. She’s very protective of her baby sister and I love her to death. Marc is her portugese boyfriend. Don’t know how portugese he is though because he can only manage a handfull portugese words. He’s a sweetheart. (And he kind of looks like Orlando Bloom. Seriously. Lucky cow.)

Patty

My younger sister. She drives me insane. We don’t get along that well, and that’s maybe because she wants to hug me all the time. I’m not to big on family displays of affection. No idea why. Hey! That’s an entry right there huh?! She’s also a bit of a ditz.

J

My boyfriend of five years. We started dating in High School, he was into punk music, wore baggy jeans and cool tshirts and my little heart went all aflutter. Now he’s changed into a boer seun and I tolerate it.

Nera

A good friend that I used to work with. She has a wicked sense of humour. She’s just awesome.

May

May and her parents were our neighbours when I was a teeny tiny person. We grew up together and even after they moved away we kept in contact. She has since moved back to the neighbourhood with her boyfriend Cino. Both are great people. They are unconventional and fun. May and Cino just got engaged. And I’m the maid of honour! How exciting is that?

‘Del

A good friend. We went to school together and pretty much got up to some mischief that I will never forget. We once painted a huge bull’s eye on my bedroom wall and my dad almot had a heart attack. My room was our canvas. her dad passed away recently.

A good friend.

‘Von

Lady that shares my office. She really, really loves her dogs. I also grew up with her daughter. Our parents are friends and she now works for my mother, same as I do. Her husband works in Sudan for months at a time. He de-mines the land there. (Takes the landmines out of the ground)
